The Little Things
Sometimes the smallest things stay with us the longest.
The sound of rain against a window. Your favorite snack waiting after school. A friend’s laugh. A sleepy pet beside you. The smell of breakfast. Shoes by the front door. A song playing in the car. Sunlight falling across your bedroom floor.
For The Little Things, young poets are invited to find inspiration in the ordinary moments, objects, sounds, people, and feelings that make everyday life special.
Nothing is too small to become a poem.
50-120 Words
